About the editor
I AM a British a freelance writer and journalist living in Wellington, New Zealand. Or at least that's what I was before I left the UK. Now I work as an IT consultant coaching software development. The pay's better, and the NZ journalist is paid even less than in the UK... I'm not bitter.
In the past, I've written for The Guardian, the BBC, The Financial times and dozens of UK trade and industry publications covering subjects from the burps of cows to the intricacies of Chinese computer crime.
My first novel, Generation -- "ressurrect your fear with an injection of horror" -- is now available from Amazon, and I have another in the pipeline. All my fiction is detailed on my Author website.
But returning to NZ, me and my wife have fought – and I mean fought – a constant battle with the pull of New Zealand life and lived here on and off over the last decade interspersed with stints back in the UK.
Now, with two small children to take care of, New Zealand has claimed us once more, quite possibly for good.
